'NSYNC, Aguilera, Bon Jovi Bound For Winter Olympics

11.07.2001

If Geena Davis can try out for the Summer Olympics, there's no reason 'NSYNC, Christina Aguilera and Bon Jovi can't participate in the Winter Games.

All three artists, along with Harry Connick, Jr. and teen singers Josh Groban and Charlotte Church, will perform during the closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City on February 24.

The event will take place at the University of Utah stadium, and tickets are priced between $320 and $885. Local vendor Smith's Tix will be the only outlet handling lower-end seat sales from Wednesday (November 7) until November 14, when all tickets for the event become widely available.

More performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
