*NSYNC Concert Canceled For Good, Ticketmaster Sends E-Mail To Ticket Holders
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla., 4:05 p.m. EDT August 6, 2001 -- Looks like those *NSYNC tickets won't be valid for a rescheduled concert after all.
Channel 10 News has learned that Ticketmaster sent e-mail to ticket holders who purchased their tickets online for the August 2nd concert.
There had been rumors that the concert would be rescheduled for September, but Monday thousands of *NSYNC fans got the word that they would be getting refunds instead. The e-mail did not explain what the reasons were for canceling the show for good.
Bad weather forced *NSYNC to call off last Thursday night's scheduled concert at Pro Player Stadium. The rain damaged part of the group's computerized lighting system and put the stage crew 12 hours behind schedule.
