"On the Line," the movie debut of 'NSYNC's Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, isn't due in theaters until later this year, but fans can get a sneak peek at the production in a documentary premiering next month on the Independent Film Channel.
"Crossover" will air September 24 and follows Bass' adventures as producer and star of "On the Line," from casting sessions to the last day of filming, according to IFC's publicists.
The documentary also includes interviews with Jewel, Ice-T, Gene Simmons, Mos Def and other musicians who've crossed over to film.
"Crossover" will kick off the "IFC Indie Rocks" on-air film series, which will run September 24-30.
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea will host the series, introducing such music-related movies as the hip-hop documentary "Rhyme & Reason" (featuring Lauryn Hill, Dr. Dre, RZA and Busta Rhymes) and the Jon Bon Jovi film "The Leading Man."
"On the Line" is tentatively due October 26, a publicist for the movie said Tuesday (August 14).
